25 years ago: 1983 Baltimore Orioles remembered Jim Palmer, Mike Flannigan Eddie Murry, Cal Ripken Jr,and Rick Dempsey carried the team and Won AL East title; then swept the Chicago White Sox in the ALCS 3-0 series rout,and won the World Series defeated the Phil. Phillies 4-1 series and Dempsey was the MVP of the World Series...Cal Ripken,Jr. iron man streak already started.
