When will the police and faculty wake up to the fact that our children aren't safe in schools anymore. You can ask your child to keep his or her distance, but sometimes you are just in the WRONG place at the WRONG time. SCHOOL should NEVER be the WRONG place. The school has once again been locked down because of GANG activity and GUNS. April 18, 2008 It's 12:30 in the afternoon and I am biting my nails wondering what is going on with the world. They allow these kids to wear their colors to school. No one is saying anything to them or even turning them away at the door. YES we have come to this as a society! We aren't safe at home, at school, at work, or even in our sleep. Wake up people. I have so many issues that have troubled me in the last few years and How society and the government wants us to raise our children is one of them. You aren't allowed to yell at your children, you aren't allowed to touch them, you aren't allowed to humiliate them. They have no fear of anything or anyone and most of Us who have these children grew up just the opposite. Stop babying these children/young adults and allow parents to parent so that these types of things will be few and far between.
