It's about time we move some military out.  It's not good to have them all bunched up together in the same town.  If we were attacked, if would be a disaster to have them all together like Pearl Harbor.  Sure, this will probably never happen, but why even take the chance.  Now, I realize this is hard on the Military Families to move, but look at it this way.  Some people, like myself would love to go to Japan and experience a different culture plus, you' re being paid to do it.  By moving the carrier group, this will also free up some traffic in this area.

I couldn't agree with you more. One well timed WMD to the Hampton Roads area could in less than a second wipe out over 70% of the east coast military. Brac made since before America openly became the empire builder it is today. Mayport, Fl. should be updated to handle a nuclear carrier and at least one maybe two should be moved. the local politicians are to codependent on the military and or selfish to be honest about this real threat to the country's safety. I've always questioned the 9-11 targets. Attacking a symbol only benefits the one being struck and should never be a opening salvo. That is of course, if it wasn't a self inflected wound.

I am a metal roofer. I been working with metal since 1995 and have seen this area build itself up. My dog is very dear to me. She's a pitbull and I cannot stand the fact that Pitbulls are considered dangerous. Like humans, any dog can be trained to cause harm. I keep my her like you would any other dog. There is nothing wrong with Pitbulls. However, there is something wrong with people.
