On Februrary 28, 2008- I had the pleasure of speaking to students, faculty, staff and guests at Tidewater Community College, on College Drive on the Suffolk/Portsmouth border.

It was the final day of Black History Month. The theme was "Legacies: Living the Dream". It was a great topic for me as I have so much to be proud of concerning my rich family heritage here in Hampton Roads.
