2008 CHESAPEAKE SERVICE AWARDS

The City of Chesapeake recognized its dedicated employees on June 24th with the 2008 Service Awards Luncheon. It was held at the Chesapeake Conference Center and I served as the emcee. Hundreds of city workers were recognized for their years of service- in departments ranging from Public Works- to Police and Fire.

Two were even acknowledged for giving 45 years of service!
Mayor Dalton Edge says the city prides itself on retaining employees- and moving them through the ranks, in Chesapeake.

Congratulations to all of the employees of the City of Chesapeake. Your dedication is honorable!
