It must really be a thorn in the Government side when a Middle East country like Iran holds elections without us having to invade them and force them to do it. The news showed the current president casting his vote by dropping his completed voting form into the big tupperware box. Now I'll be the first to admit that I know nothing about Iran election process, but I'll bet it's not has complicated as ours is. I could be wrong, they may limit themselves to two well established parties that can't get anything done, like what we put up with. They may have held primaries all over the country that led up to a couple of conventions for the last year before the big day. I just don't know.
What I do know is the news said it would take a least a week to count all the votes. Americans would never put up with that, unless of course the public elected the wrong guy and then we'd send it to a court, that was appointed by a president, and wait about a month for them to tell us who they want the winner to be.
What I do know is that, some official in our government, came out and stated that the election was crooked and fixed and couldn't be trusted. Taking into consideration the time difference The polls in Iran couldn't have been closed for more than a few hours. Were there exit polls taken by US main stream media members. I don't know if the election was monitored by anybody, but it's clear that our government is doubtful that the results will reflect what the Iranian voters really wanted.
With all of the problems we've had just holding primaries, I wonder if the upcoming conventions will really produce the publics will. Will the election run smoother than the primaries, or will this election end up in court like the last one. Will this administration find a excuse to postpone or cancel this election and just stay in office long enough for the supreme court to take away our only remaining right, the second amendment, which is scheduled to be heard in front of the justices soon.
Since our government has the ability to know the results of the election in Iran before the votes are counted, maybe they could just save us a bunch of time and money and tell us who their going to announce as the winner of our election, now.
I did have more to say about this, but there is a important news story coming on, telling us how the government spends it's time and our money. The state of Florida is looking at holding restaurant operators responsible for keeping toilet paper in the restrooms. Should this become law, inspectors can shut down the restaurant right away. I fear that the state of Virginia (a Florida wanna be) won't be far behind (pun intended).

when i feel, i feel strongly, rights right and wrong is wrong life is simple and good, can't wait to get to heaven, I miss America, The one I learned about in school, No politician should be alloud to spend more than 2 terms in any office, they loose contact with the people they represent, and get corrupted with power. that goes for all offices. from the pres. down to city dog catcher. If they want to make a life of it, then take a term off just to clear their heads and reconnect. If WE THE PEOPLE don't act and I mean now we won't have to worry about global warming, drug abuse, child abuse, tobacco, rap or rock music, aids, the infrostructure, lead in toy paint, fermaldihyde in fema housing, adultry, taxes, loss of rights, wake up folks. historys repeating as we read this. and the prophets told us along ago time all this was going to happen. go hug a tree, become a big brother or sister, join greenpeace or peta. just realize that if you don't vote everybody out, the cancer will spread. But then again, God's timing is perfect
