      The political powers that be, and even those who desire to have their names associated with power have all but regulated the news media to meaninglessness. At one time the news was fun and interesting to watch. They went after government and business leaders and made them accountable for their actions. Their own integrity was like the countries moral watchdog. Sadly those days are gone, the news in any form,print, television, radio, is nothing more than another source of revenue that must stay soft and appeal to the masses that really have little interest in understanding why things are the way they are. 

       I can't imagine how hard it would be today to teach journalism. Oh sure you could cover the basics, who, what, when, where,and why. And that's great when covering a fire or bad accident that backed up traffic, it fits well when covering sports and weather also, but now it's off limits to government and business. A reporter can rest assured that the constitution protects their right to tell the truth about lies the business and political leaders use to get their selfish ways, they may even tell the side of the leaders motives and give them a fair chance to explain their point of view. What the constitution will not do is sign their paycheck. 

     Most of the media is owned by a small group of corporations that get favors from government agencies and have friends in other industries that only care about how to more efficiently empty your pockets. The ideal is to make more profit so they can continue to share those profits with share holders so, whatever is necessary, is also moral and honorable. Nothing could be further from the truth but that doesn't matter, in this world of spin. After all the public doesn't want or couldn't handle the truth. It's better that way. Can you picture a evening for dinner and drinks at Ken Lay's house (I'd like DNA proof he's dead) discussing how even though we have fraudulently built a financial house of cards that will collapse and cost thousands of investors and employees billions, it's okay because we're friends with powerful elite government officials and we won't lose a thing. How could anybody hold such a conversation. 
      They can hold conversations like that because the media won't cover the connections between business and government. We the American public lose, the ideal of a free market and capitalism will win out, has lost. It's not all the medias fault, the public has been manipulated and for whatever reason, embarrassment, shame, ignorance, or just a feeling of powerlessness. The trust we bestow upon those who lead government, business, and journalist, has been violated. The terrorist, communism and any other evil that threatens freedom has won, because we are in the middle of self destruction.

      Don't wait for any miracle to change things. That's not going to happen, the miracle is that we where told about these times long ago. Just like, we were told, Jesus would die and would rise after three days and did. We were told that all these obviously bad things would happen just before he comes again. HEY, IS ANYBODY PAYING ATTENTION.

       There are a few shows that aren't part of the profit world. Well right off the top of my head I can only think of one. Jack Van Impe. Some call him evil, some say he's just an opportunist, I'm sure he is making some profit. That's okay profit isn't a sin. He isn't afraid of telling the truth about business or government, and that makes his show worth watching, more so than most other so called news shows.

      Adult cartoons shows and comedy shows do a better job of telling the real story, than the network news shows. I suggest a reading of the Declaration of Independence, not just the first part, where it tells of the times and reasons, but the part where in detail it states the charges the colonies had against the government of England. Most of the indictments could apply to the way the monopolies that tell this government how to govern. Then reread the first part about how it becomes necessary to alter or abolish it when it becomes destructive to these ends. What ends, Life,LIberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. It's impossible when laws are written by lobbyist, and politicians only listen to wealthy donators. 

        If you disagree with me or don't agree that the end times are here then get off your fat lazy butt, get involved and prove me wrong, vote out all the incumbents and take this country back. Jail those who built the jails and break up the media monopolies that have spun the truth to the point that all they tell us about is who's sleeping with who and what drugs are being given sports figures, instead of what laws are being broken by which lawmakers.
