A WAR WITH RUSSIA ?

The hypocrisy of the US and NATO - currently occupying Afghanistan, for 7 years now, previously Serbia, where they carved out Kosovo - and the US, currently occupying Iraq, for 4 years now - is astounding. As well as the hate the US / Israeli supremacists have for Russia.The fact is Russia voluntarily gave up its empire (kudos!) and was promised that NATO would not expand into its former territory. These promises have all been broken by the LIARS in the US. This expansion fundamentally threatens Russia - which has been invaded horrifically by France and Germany, the primary NATO members, 3 times, and by the US and many other NATO countries on a smaller scale during the Bolshevik Revolution. Moreover Russia, which has a declining population, has a great number of ethnic Russians separated from her due to the border-crossing that occurred during the Soviet Empire days, and desires to protect them.This is Russia back yard. Russia is not the enemy. The Neo-cons are the enemy. These are the same type of neo-communist ideologues that brought Communism to Russia, and that are bringing us Big Brother, War of Terror, and the New World Order, in the meantime replacing Christian / Republican values with communist / materialist utilitarianism, ego-centrism and greed.The Neo-cons are the single biggest threat to humanity. They don't mind risking a nuclear war since they have underground cities to scurry into if things go bad. Do you?

It's a "do as I say, not as I do" mentality that has taken over the way the U.S. does things these days. So much for leading by example. Russia, as well as many other countries are growing increasingly tired of the arrogance of the U.S., and will challange us on that notion alone.

maybe you should go back and study the REAL history of the soviet union, and WHY it really collapsed. and i'm sure that somewhere out there is archived footage of the RUSSIAN PEOPLE DEMANDING THEIR FREEDOM IN 1990!!!!!!!!

atm & jteam you both are correct arrogance alone will be our down fall. The business of our goverment has been "breaking treadies" for 200+yrs and I find it hard to swallow in the 21st century since we are trying to promote Democracy through out the world.

What a family member that was 13 now 19 perished in Iraq, and you want to take a trip to the new John McCain Karl Rove Georgian/American border. Spacealien, fits, Nato isn't a threat to Russia. America has become a threat to Nato. We didn't listen to them, they are in BERLIN waiving that American flag. We fired 18 generals to figure out how many licks to the center of America. We didn't include them in the lie on the war on terror. We didn't include them in the "Fabriction of Weapons of Mass Destruction" We didn't tell the Supreme Allied Commander that he was still the Commander. We let John McCain and Karl Rove made policy on foriegn affairs and lied to another country so they would send their 13 year old now 19 years old to Iraq to die on behalf of their Big Oil Crack Reconciliation deal or no deal that still isn't a done deal!

We didn't get invited to the Sand Bowling fiasco John McCain did! Mr. "ANTHRAX" I was dead wrong seven years later. I'm feeling safer everytime I hear him say, it came from IRAQ and we must send our children to die because we are under attack, attack and it was just a POW flashback because he refused to fund PTSD and that he had ADDT when he was just a "PUNK" kid 393rd ranked classmate!

jteamaz...A war with Russia would be devastating. You are right that Russia is a "superpower" much like ourselves, and to have 2 superpowers at war with each other, well it could very easily become neclear.

NATO a threat to Russia? The United States trying to invade? Neocons? Looks like someone hasn't been watching enough Television! If anyone wants a good idea of what NATO is about look up operation gladio and see what kind of consience this 'group' has. The conflict with Russia and Georgia is a simple ploy to force Georgia into NATO and begin the destablization of Russia so it will to need the 'security' of NATO/U.N. and become the next branch of the Asian or Soviet? Union. And how could you possibly think the United States could be involved with destablizing smaller nations, haven't you ever heard of the CIA? Afterall we're doing our best to free Iraq, find bin laden and make sure Iran is safe. Maybe this link will help:

Iraq doesn't want to be free they want us out and it's become a waste of lives nothing more. Yep it's real difficult to find an Arab towering over all the other ones with a dialysis machine hooked up to his side. I could be stretching it here but maybe a place to start would be where's he been all this time, Pakistan. It's time this country takes care of it's own and it lets the other countries do the same.

I have always believed that OBL has been hiding in Pakistan ever since we went into Afghanistan back in 2001. BUT we went to Iraq instead of Pakinstan and OBL is still alive and kicking.

I do believe whole heartedly that it is DAMN time that we close our borders both North and South, take care of our own and let the rest of the world do the same.. couldnt have said it any better, thanks RD
