Interesting that my comments/replies too were deleted.  Hmm...someone doesn't like feedback that hits home in her own backyard.  Well, what I said was basically what others have chimed in on.  The foster family may not be able to afford name brand shoes, and that may not be a big deal to some.  However, I can remember when I was younger,  not having name brand anything.  My parents were still married, and we survived, we had love, and family.  But the one time I went to school with NIKE shoes on, OMG, you wouldn't believe the attention I got that day, and from then on.

Secondly I'd like to address deenlee...It saddens me that you are a foster parent.  Do you want to know why?  Because if you are seriously that illiterate (as your grammatical errors show) then you have absolutely NO business raising any children let alone fostering them.  It goes to show the general public that apparently, the system isn't doing much to screen perspective foster parents.  Now then, take your whiney, cry baby, no good for nothing, post deleting butt, and *itch on someone elses shoulder.  You sound as if you're jealous someone isn't doting over and filling your basket.

Maybe the foster parents SHOULD have the money for shoes, but who's not to say they didn't have emergencies pop up, maybe their car needed fixing, maybe they had to catch up on utilities that were due and maybe they haven't been able to buy clothes/shoes because they're struggling to keep a friggin roof over the kids' heads???

Mr Fred, your comments were useless in my blog and you had my whole blog on Kathleen deleted, what did you do call the station. Whaaa Whaaa, tracking your record, if you turn out to be the person I believe that you are, you need to clean up your backyard. The way I see it is that you have a great potty mouth, which I dished back to you and that is why you had my blog deleted, how was lunch with Kathleen. All of it was facts, sorry it didn't rub you the right way, but that is not my job, that's why you have a spouse, right. Go take some meds.

Vision...what does your comment have to do with my post? I can see why someone would delet your comment. I won't delete it from mine, just so people can see that you are just as bad as the others whom you are bad mouthing. Those who live in glass houses should not cast stones. Perhaps you should think before you speak/type. I would like an answer to my first question. And to this one as well. Why would you act so juvenile as to use someone elses post as a place to "throw up" what you deem as a rebuttal?

In Missouri, foster parents get a stipend each month for each child they have. This stipend is based on the age of the children in your home. For example, we have one child between 6 and 12 y.o., so we receive a little over 300 per month. That doesn't go very far. Additionally, each child that is placed in the foster care system is entitled to a voucher for clothing. This is a yearly voucher that is issued roughly around the date they were placed in foster care. This voucher is only $200. But Deenlee should have known all of that.

I spoke to a representative today from an agency that works with foster parenting. As lizzie said, the money the foster parents receive is barely enough to cover the expenses each child requires to get through each month. Wonder if anyone has thought about what it costs to get a child by each month. And I'm not talking even taking into consideration the rent and utilities. That's it, and I'm done with this, I just think that perhaps deenlee might change her ideas before she has more children, or posts anything else here with regards to money and kids. Deenlee seems kinda jealous and selfish to me.

You got to post, you had mine removed, bad mouthing or facts, I know that is why you had it removed, sorry truth hurts. I would have let people see what your comments had to do with anything on my blog, but again you had it removed, and you "threw up" a pretty nasty potty mouth on my blog, so talk about glass houses, watch out, juvenile is having a blog removed when you dump your potty mouth all over the facts which I can provide any day, anytime, chicken little. Stop thinking your superior in the blog ring and can sh-t on every one's blog, and if you do not want everyone to see what a moron you are then you call the station complain like a baby and have it removed, now that is truly juvenile. I would not pay you the dignity, oh nice try, I do not embarrass easily. Later, Fred.
