My son was recently the victim of a fatal car accident in Virginia Beach. No matter what the circumstances of the accident, I feel that those who report the news to the general public should always offcer their prayers and condolences to the families and friends of the victims. The accident was reported may times in both the papers and on the local news, and never were the grieving families or friends comforted by the newcasters.
Life goes on as usual for everyone after the news has been delivered, but the families and friends of the victims are never the same. Please show compassion to all individuals involved in fatalities, whether they be vehicle accidents, shootings, etc. The only condolences i can recall have been given to the living victims of natural disasters. We could all use a hug.
