The fact of your crime you don't refute - Yet you're asking the president to commute - Your sentence (6 months, ya, that's tough) - In my opinion, not long enough.
You've really got alot of nerve - Asking for mercy you don't deserve. - Your sport and your country, you did fail. - Why should you be let out of jail?
You brought shame upon the nation - But think you should be given vacation - From time you're spending in the pokey. - Your tears, through bars, come across as hokey.
Your lies came easy, you were cool as ice - But now you're whining about paying the price - For the cheating and lying you chose to do. - Too bad, so sad. Boo freakin' hoo!
To self, team and country, you were not true. - Time to face up and accept your due. - You deserve the time, so spend it and then - Be a better person when it comes to an end.
There's an AOL story this morning about the Large Hadron Collider, the largest particle collider ever built. It's scheduled to be activated in August. Some say it could destroy the earth, some say it won't. That's not the point of this blog. The point is...The Department of Energy and The National Science Foundation (NSF) contributed $531 million to it's construction and the NSF will pay $87 million of the annual cost to operate it. How about putting these monstrous projects on hold and knocking off the pork barrel spending until there are enough prisons to hold all of the criminals. I'm sick of reading about creeps being released and within a week they've commited more crimes, ranging from robbery to murder. How about a little protection out here for WE, THE PEOPLE!!!!! How about backing up that guarantee regarding life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I won't be pursuing any happiness if I'm six feet under because a criminal was released due to overcrowding and decided to slash my throat for the measly $10 in my billfold. It's sad that we need more prisons but, it's a fact. Prisons first, particle accelerators later!

I find it infuriating that Anheuser-Busch may soon cease to be an American-owned company. I'm mainly posting this to tell everyone about an on-line petition to protest the sale of Anheuser-Busch to InBev (a Belgian company). savebudweiser.com You can sign the petition and post a remark.
