Win or lose, did anyone notice the fan support?  This should send out shock waves to the Chiefs front office.   Most of the spectators are disguised as empty seats.

Thursday night isn't Sunday, granted.  But it's been a long time, maybe 1975 since I've watched a TV game with such an empty stadium---in the second quarter.  That's even before they quit selling beer.    Even if it is $8.00 or so beer.

Or maybe it's the $22.00 parking fee they're so proud of.

Yo, Carl, anybody home?

Oh, man, did you notice the RAIN, and thunderstorms??? I live near the stadium and at one point it hailed for about 20 minutes. If I had tickets I would not have gone!! It was pretty nasty out there for most of the evening!!

BTW, you need to look at some of what the other stadiums charge for parking in the NFL, $22 is chump change!!

Don't worry, spellcheckman! King Carl has found a way to recoup the money negating any non-sellouts. IMG Stadium will keep the green flowing into his pocket!

So long, Arrowhead! It was nice being one of the last franchises to not have a corporate sponsor for a home. How long before "the K" becomes "the Circle K"?

I would also like to point out that it was a Thrusday evening. People have work and kids have school the next day.

We gripe and moan about the cost of things involved with the games, yet gripe and moan that the Chiefs and Royals suck. Good players cost money!!! Where do you expect the money to come from? Don't like it, don't attend games or buy their merchendise or even cheer for them for that matter!!

Ummm, spellcheckman, do you ever watch pre-season games? If so, you'd realize the seats are almost always empty because it's pre-season. Everyone who complains about the ticket prices, parking, concession prices evidently hasn't been to another stadium because KC has one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest, fan experiences in the country. Besides, when it's raining hard enough to puddle on the field as well as nickle size hail, who really would go?

Purdygirl, they do suck! I have no idea why you support a bunch of clowns. Oh, yeah you're from Kansas City. No much to say there too! You do have a point about getting good players without the money. KC, is in the middle of nowhere and never going to have the money like the bigger cities. This is cowboy or farm country, not a Pro Sports City. The Royals and the Chiefs will always be substandard compared to other major cities. That's a fact Jack!

Ooops! One more thing, the city wanted to occupy the Sprint Center with a NHL team. If a hockey team was here in KC, they would have to fold. It's called attendence that help pay for their salaries. Hockey is in the middle of football season and everyone or most fans have their heads buried son far up the Chiefs behinds, they would not attend a hockey game. It's all the Chiefs here. So that sport would never ever work and/or be a success in no-mans land.
Why do you think that the good quality players don't stay here? A 2nd grader could answer that one. Example:Um, would you rather get paid $10.00 per hr or go somewhere else and get paid $20.00 per hr? Enough said! This is my opinion and I'm sticking with it!

bebo-
My question to you is this...if you are not from Kansas City, as I gather from your almost jab at the fact I do, then why in the hell do you care so much to gripe? I will support my local teams, regardless of their winning talley. As I pointed out, we would have better players if they would pay them more $, so why are you trying to re-point that out? Don't support KC sports teams, we don't care! We don't need you!

Bebo, or should I say Carl Peterson. The only reason you say that the Chiefs and Royals suck is because they haven't been to the playoffs in quite some time. In fact, the last time the Royals were in the playoffs was when they won the World Series. Huh, funny thing about that. WE WON THE FREAKEN WORLD SERIES. The last time the Chiefs were in the playoffs was when Joe Montana was here and lost in the AFC Chapmionship Game. Not bad for a "cowtown or farm country". It's not a matter of a "2nd grader" seeing what's going on, it's a matter of big market vs. small market. That's sports in general. Now, your rant about NHL. How long was the Blades here before the league folded? 12 years? Huh. Yeah, KC doesn't like hockey. Why don't you go back to STL or LA where you belong.
